|Date:||21 – 25 September 2014|
|Venue:||The Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC),Riyadh -Saudi Arabia|
Several governmental and private organizations will participate in the exhibition to show some of the mega projects executed and under construction in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The invitations will go to the most prominent companies, establishments and factories that had roles in large projects and in particular those with distinction. There will be opportunities to depict all modern technologies used in construction in the kingdom in various engineering branches related to the building industry: architectural, structural, geotechnical as well as mechanical, electrical, sanitary and energy. This is an open invitation to all authorities, companies organizations and establishments related to this industry from within KSA and international.
Participants are expected to contribute to this event regarding recent developments in planning, design and construction with conventional and new materials and methods. All these developments should be projected as how they improve the performance level of buildings and structures from points of view of engineering, practicality and aesthetics. One of the vital examples of modern technologies is what was used in crowd management, in operating the projects of the Holy Areas (al Mashaer al Muqaddasa); namely, the new Jamarat Structure in Mena and the Holy Siter Train. Using trains in KSA as a mean of transportation is without doubt a pressing need. This is particularly true because of the tremendous growth in transportation volumes in a country with a vast geographical area and long distances between it’s widely spread cities. It is needed also for trade and pedestrian movements with other countries in the region as well as strengthening commercial ties. Train projects will have a distinguished location in the exhibition.
